OYC Thirsty Thursday Small Boat Races

Oceanside's own Lido 14, Fleet 21, has taken a break from their year long Harbor Championship Series, but no rest for the wicked. Oceanside Yacht Club is hosting the Thirsty Thursday Races for the 12 weeks of summer, and the Lido 14 fleet is on it , like an Ethiopian on a Foot-Long Chili-Cheese Coney.
Holly Davis brought Irish Car-Bomb to the line and despite the sporadic absence of First Mate, Jay Davis (Bowman on the kickin' Andrews 70, Alchemy,) presents a compelling threat to series leader, Stevy Mast, with First Syncophant, Hugh, on Don"t Mess With Kitty, who hold the top spot after 6 races.
Newest guy, Adam and Linda with What, are moving through the fleet, as they apply their extensive 18 knot Nacra Cataramaran knowledge to the troubling new World of 4 knot torture-machines.
Last Thursday's finish line vignette saw Fleet Champion Danny Avina with Hard Core Mercenary Dinghy Thrasher Christina Kendrick in OXO, Larry Rowe and PC VanSlyke in Red Tide, and Margie and Jack Bouckeno in A Little Quickie finishining in less than a 2 second span.
Wanna have boat fun?????????
The Thirsty Thursday Series is the Premier Action for Oceanside Harbor. And the Lido 14 Class is the undisputed Hot Action Venue in North County.
